What critera should I consider when choosing my pool builder?

Reputation, Reputation, Reputation.  Mark and I consider the reputation we have built up over more than 20 years and thousands of satisfied customers one of our most valuable assets.

You should perform your due diligence. Check with the Better Business Bureau and Florida Department of Professsional Regulation for any complaints or censures.

Bob:

Drop by the office or showroom of the companies you are considering to see what type of operation they have.  Is the staff helpful?  Is the product selection ample enough to allow for a wide range of selections? 

Mark:

Ask who the “Qualifier” is.  This is the person who is licensed b the State of Florida to obtain construction permits.  Ideally you would want this person to be a local officer of the company working within the business on a day-to-day basis.  At Freestyle, I am the Qualifier.

Can I heat my pool or extend the swimming season?

Bob:

Yes.  If you want to extend your swimming season or use your pool all year-round, the Hayward Heat Pro™ Heat Pump is the ideal solution.

Another option, if your home is suitable, is the use of Solar Panels.  This type of system can extend your swimming season 3 to 4 months. 

I have heard of various systems that can make my pool more "carefree". Can you tell me about some of them?

Yes.  In these busy times, we feel it is important that your pool is always clean and ready to use.  While skimming, cleaning and chlorinating are not too terribly time consuming, there are features we can add to the pool that help to ensure that most of the work is already done.
